Dear Les, I feel privileged to have shared such happy times at all our Renault-About Town events and to hold so many memories of the good times we all had. May you rest in peace.
From the moment I first met Les he became a friend. Always had a big cuddle and a huge smile whenever I saw him. Les was 1 in a million a top bloke and had an infectious laugh. You will be missed by many mate, xxxxx
My sincere condolences to all of the family. Les was Mr Palace - I've been going regularly since the early 1970s and he was one of the ever present great characters who stayed alongside us all through thick and thin. RIP. Paul & Ben Younger CPFC Orpington

Thank you for setting up this memorial to Les Barnes. We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
